Smile design is not just about the colour and shape of your teeth; it is a multi-layered planning process that considers your whole face, lips and smile line. At Clinic Lina this process begins with digital intraoral scanning and photo analysis, so you can see the result and give your approval before treatment even starts.
How the process works
At the first visit a three-dimensional image of your mouth is captured with a digital scanner. This image is combined with your facial photographs to create a digital preview of your smile. On that preview, the length, width and shade of the teeth are fine-tuned together with you.
Once you approve the design, it becomes the basis of your treatment plan. Because every step is driven by digital data, there are no surprises and the gap between expectation and outcome stays small.
Which procedures are part of it?
Smile design is not a single procedure but a combination built around your needs. One or more of the following may be included in your plan.
- Teeth whitening to lighten the shade
- Crowns and veneers within a Hollywood Smile
- Implant Treatment for missing teeth
- Alignment correction with Invisalign
- Aesthetic gum line adjustment
Who is it suitable for?
Almost anyone with discolouration, wear, chips, crowding or gaps is a candidate for smile design. What matters is that your gum health and overall oral health are suitable. A comprehensive examination gives you the clearest roadmap.
What keeps the result long-lasting?
The longevity of your new smile depends on the quality of the materials, the dentist's experience and your own oral care. Brushing twice a day, flossing and regular check-ups help you preserve the result for years. For patients coming from abroad, follow-up visits are planned in advance.
